Mission
Principal Attorney Martin Winfield founded Moments Law Firm, bringing over twenty years of legal experience to the firm. Raised in Inglewood, California, he graduated from Howard University and later earned his law degree from Pepperdine University School of Law. Throughout his career, he has participated in over 200 trials, representing the State of California in various capacities, including the California Department of Social Services, the Department of Real Estate, and the Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation. Additionally, he has served as a criminal defense attorney, managing hundreds of cases and representing licensed professionals facing disciplinary actions from different California regulatory departments. Mr. Winfield has also collaborated with several esteemed substance abuse and mental health rehabilitation facilities.
In his years of practice, Mr. Winfield observed a troubling trend: the legal system and many attorneys often failed to prioritize the public's well-being. Punishments were frequently inequitable and arbitrary, without consideration for the medical, physical, or psychological harm experienced by individuals involved in legal matters, whether related to criminal charges, family law issues, employment disputes, or civil litigation.
In response, Mr. Winfield began conducting free legal clinics and workshops to educate people about their rights and provide strategies to address their legal challenges. His mission expanded to include representing clients not only to achieve favorable legal outcomes but also to implement long-term plans that would enhance their lives beyond the legal situation. He is committed to ensuring that his clients receive the necessary support throughout their legal journeys.
With his extensive experience, knowledge, and compassion, Martin Winfield established Moments Law Firm to offer comprehensive representation to clients. Schedule a consultation today, and we guarantee that you will be better off than before you made the call.
